We stopped to visit an elementary school, where we witnessed the morning assembly, flag-raising, and pledge of allegiance.

We were then invited to go into the classrooms and talk to the students and answer their questions.

There we saw a barge clearing the surface of water hyacinths, which are as much of a nuisance in Thailand as they are in the Southeastern United States.
