Some local delicacies...

That afternoon, we visited one of two Killing Fields Memorials in Cambodia (the other is located near Phnom Penh, the capital), this one at a temple built adjacent to the field where the remains were found. There were 1.7 million victims of Pol Pot's genocide.

In the evening, we flew back to Bangkok and checked into a downtown hotel.

In the morning, we rode to the Chinese market and toured its narrow streets and alleys on foot. Here, we're sampling young coconuts...

The Democracy Monument...

We had lunch at a nearby restaurant. Clockwise around the table (from the lower left): Julia and John Langford, Donna and Dick Gratton, Angela and George Moore, Julie and Reid Moore, Ray, Bob Smythe and Priscilla Clute, Elliott and Laura Dudnik, and Barbara.
