Another view of the Sacred Valley. Note the steep hills. They remind many of us of the steep, green hillsides of Hawaii.

We start our descent to a lower elevation. Pictured below is the city of Pisac.

We arrive at our hotel in Urubamba and check into our room. The hotel is a converted monastery. We are all overwhelmed by the splendor of its gardens and the spaciousness of its rooms. Our room overlooks one of the gardens through a lovely iron grill.
