The chapel is filled with gilded statues and lovely painting.

Under the monastery is a large network of catacombs.

These catacombs were a public burial place. Any churchgoer could be buried here.

Out of the catacombs and back in the cloisters once again, Sylvia Zapata rests in an alcove.

The cloister gardens showcase ancient plumeria bushes that have grown as large as trees.
