The city police make a showing.

The next day, we are back in Cuzco exploring yet another ancient Inca archeological site: the Parque Arqueologico de Sacsayhuaman. In this photograph, Don James gazes at the zigzag walls of Sacsayhuaman. Leylys explains that the zigzag shape was designed to resemble lightning.

Jill Schurman is filled with glee and shows it by dancing a little jig.

At Sacsayhuaman, the agricultural terraces were constructed to fit the curvature of the hillside.

A Quechua Indian woman walks through the ruins with her young baby on her back.
