We meet the group again in Machu Picchu City. Everyone shares tales of their adventures during the morning exploring Machu Picchu in the rain. We have a grand buffet lunch at Toto's, where another Incan band provides haunting music.

Toto's is located immediately above the rain-swollen, raging river. Stephanie Bentley, Terttu Alexander, and Lucille Elbert smile for the camera.

After lunch, we walk around while waiting for the train to take us back to Cuzco. Here, on a tributary river, we see men gathering river sand.

The train runs right through the middle of the tourist shopping district...

...and this shopping path also serves as the road on which the buses travel to go to the Machu Picchu ruins! When the buses go through here, there is barely five inches free on either side! It makes you want to close your eyes and pray.
