A baby sleeps in the bed in the corner.

Guinea pigs share the house with the family. They are not pets, but are used, along with the chickens and pigs, as a source of food.

In the corner, three baby guinea pigs await their mother.

In the corner near the door is the wood-buring stove where all the meals are prepared.

There is a single niche on the wall where the skulls of two recent family ancestors are kept together with a picture of Jesus Christ.
