A shepherd herds his flock over the ruins.

A lone goat gazes down the hillside.

Finally, we arrive at the sacred spot, a very unique Temple of the Sun. It is astonishing to imagine how the Incas could have manipulated these huge stones!

We look down at the living city of Ollantaytambo.

The group hikes a different trail near the ruins on our way back to the valley floor.
