The agricultural terraces of Ollantaytambo.

The base of the terraces...

...where a goat finds some good grazing.

We climb the terraces and, for the first time, experience the difficulty and breathlessness of exercise at 11,000 feet.

Midway up the terraces, we pause and view the hill on the other side of the city of Ollantaytambo. There are two unusual features on the steep face of the mountain: the face of an Inca warrior, and a rectangular granary. You will see both features in close-up in the following photograph.
