Where Old Town Mazatlan meets the sea.

We met Karen and Paul Hackett and part of their family for lunch, sightseeing, and shopping. The Hacketts have a time-share condominium in Mazatlan. The restaurant they had suggested was closed, so we took the whole group back to have lunch at Carlos' restaurant in the plaza. Carlos loved the business and we loved the food and friendly ambience.

We visited the central market and admired the fruits and vegetables.

After lunch, most of the men returned to the ship, and the girls went shopping. Karen Hackett showed us the best shops in the Mazatlan Gold Coast.

We returned to the ship,and it headed out to sea once again. Barbara watched the ship maneuver through the narrow channel with a tugboat at its side.
