We visited the opera house. Dennis, Sharon, and Audrey camped it up in one of the boxes on the lower tier.

Most of the houses and businesses in Old Town are painted bright contrasting colors.

We came back to the same square where we discovered the beautiful yellow-flowering tree. Here, a few hours earlier, we were befriended by one of the restaurant owners, Carlos, who explained to us all about the various tree species in his plaza. He advised us on what sites to visit in Old Town and how to get there. His English was perfect, for he had spent many years living and working in the States. After our walk around Old Town, we came back to Carlos' restaurant to have a rest and a beer in his cool outdoor patio under the shade of the many trees in this lovely plaza.
